Refund Policy
This policy explains when Satvaveda issues a refund, how much you get back, and how long it takes. Please read it together with our Return Policy and Cancellation Policy.
When a refund is due
A refund is due when you cancel an order before it is dispatched, when an approved return is received and passes inspection, when an item turns out to be out of stock or undeliverable after you have paid, or when a delivery fails for a reason that is not attributable to you.
How much you get back
An approved refund covers the full amount paid for the item, including any delivery charge you paid, where the return is because the item was damaged, defective, wrong or never delivered. Where you return an item because you changed your mind, the delivery charge and any cash-on-delivery handling fee are not refundable. All amounts are refunded in INR.
How the refund is made
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Card, net banking, UPI and wallet payments are reversed to the same account or instrument. Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by bank transfer, so we will ask you for your account number and IFSC code. We do not refund cash by hand, and we do not refund to a third-party account.
Timelines
We approve or decline a refund within 2 business days of receiving the returned item, or within 2 business days of a cancellation. Once approved, we initiate the refund within 2 business days. Your bank or payment provider then takes a further 5 to 7 business days, and up to 10 business days in some cases, to credit the amount. Store credit, if you choose it instead, is issued immediately on approval.
If the refund has not reached you
If the amount has not reached you within 10 business days of our confirmation, write to info@satvaveda.com with your order number and we will share the payment gateway reference so that your bank can trace it.
Deductions
We may deduct the value of missing accessories, free items or packaging, and any benefit or discount that was conditional on the purchase you are returning. Any such deduction is itemised in the refund confirmation we send you.
