Satvaveda operates this online store and is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits it or buys from it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It is published in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us when you create an account, place an order or contact us: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, and the contents of your order. We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your device type, browser, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the pages you view on this store.

We do not store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN. Online payments are processed by RBI-authorised payment gateways, and card and bank details are handled entirely on their systems.

How we use your information

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, issue invoices, handle returns and refunds, provide customer support, prevent fraud and misuse, meet our tax and accounting obligations, and, where you have opted in, to send you offers and product updates. We share only what is necessary, and only with parties who need it to serve you: logistics and courier partners for delivery, payment gateways for processing your payment, and technology providers who host and operate this store on our behalf. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and company law requires, and other personal information only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for. We apply reasonable security practices, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information against unauthorised access, disclosure or loss.
